Kitchen & Cabinet Sourcing in China
Custom kitchens and cabinetry depend on drawings, dimensions, materials, hardware and interfaces being aligned before production. We coordinate these details with Chinese manufacturers and keep the agreed version traceable through sourcing, production and shipment.
Why cabinetry needs a detailed enquiry
A cabinet quotation can look complete while important choices remain undefined. Dimensions, carcass construction, fronts, visible finishes, hardware, internal fittings, worktops, panels, fillers, plinths and installation assumptions all affect what is actually being supplied.
We therefore work from the project information available and record missing decisions before quotations are compared.
Drawings, dimensions and interfaces
For custom cabinetry, the drawing set is part of the product specification. Depending on the project, useful information can include:
- Plans, elevations and overall dimensions.
- Cabinet layout and door or drawer configuration.
- Carcass, front and visible-side materials.
- Colours, veneers, laminates or other finishes.
- Hardware and internal accessories.
- Appliance, sink, lighting and worktop interfaces where applicable.
- Installation assumptions and site constraints supplied by the buyer or installer.
Changes should be reflected in the controlled drawing or specification rather than left in scattered messages.
Comparing manufacturers on the same basis
CONSOO & CO can identify and compare factories against the same project brief. We clarify what is included, which materials and hardware are proposed, what drawings or samples will be supplied for approval, how the products will be packed and which commercial terms apply.
This makes it easier to distinguish a real price difference from a difference in specification.
Samples, approvals and production checks
Samples and finish references can be used to confirm visible materials and colours before full production where appropriate. During the project, agreed inspection points can be linked to the latest drawings and specifications.
Checks can include quantities, dimensions within the agreed scope, visible finish, doors and drawers, hardware, accessories, identification and packaging. Hidden defects or future installation performance cannot be guaranteed by a visual or sampling inspection.
Packing, consolidation and delivery handover
Custom cabinets contain many individual components. Clear labelling, protection of visible surfaces and a usable packing list make receipt and installation easier. When cabinets are shipped together with other construction or interior products, readiness dates and consolidation need to be planned across suppliers.
We coordinate with the selected logistics parties up to the agreed handover or delivery point; transport, customs and installation remain with the parties contracted for those roles.
Related construction and interior sourcing
Kitchen and cabinet projects can be combined with building materials sourcing, furniture sourcing and sanitary ware sourcing. See the construction and interior sourcing hub for the wider workflow.
Related services include supplier and factory sourcing, quality control and product inspection and consolidation and global logistics coordination.
